ILG is bucking the recession and recording excellent growth with many new fulfilment & courier contracts coming onboard.

ILG is on track to achieve its 15% forecast growth with good levels of new business in both its ILG Direct & ILG Assured divisions.

Grant Ashley ILG's Managing Director commented "we are very optimistic about 2009, 7 months into our financial year we are ahead of forecast thanks to our underlying business holding up well and our new business sales. New fulfilment contracts have been won by ILG Assured in the B2B & B2C sectors along with a major new contract in the retail sector. ILG Direct have seen new business in local courier business as well as a good number of remote courier accounts".

ILG is reporting the gain of 18 new contracts since 1st January 2009 and is experiencing a very high level of new enquiries both in the B2C and B2B sectors.

Following the rebranding & divisionalisaton in December the business has gone from strength to strength and on the back of two successful years in 2007 & 2008 looks set for a record year in 2009.

These are exciting times for ILG; our warehousing division ILG Assured is handling high numbers of enquiries as more and more companies look to offload fixed cost from their business by outsourcing their warehousing & distribution. ILG is the UK's leading fulfilment company and has undergone a process of rebranding during the past few months.

In June 2007 ILG decided to split the business into two divisions:

'ILG Assured', for warehousing and fulfilment services and

'ILG Direct' a courier, mail & freight service.

This change was a major success for ILG and gave them greater clarity, focus and the attention to detail that is required to deliver an outstanding logistics operation.
